Nonfiction.
If you are a lover of literature, a bibliophile, or a word worm, then Anne Fadiman will be your friend. Read about the pleasure of reading and book collecting with a famous writer from a family of famous writers. Funny and familiar.

I especially enjoyed "The Joy of Sesquipedalians" (I had to check to make sure I spelled that right) and the essay on compulsive proofreading. This book is a must for book and word lovers alike.

This is a wonderful book, but only read it if you are a book lover. With essays such as "marrying libraries" (she and her husband did not do this until they had been married for 5 years), courtly love vs. carnal love of books, compulsive proofreading, etc. this is the perfect book for book lovers to read. I laughed a LOT.
