One of the best mysteries I have read in a long time. The story was great and the characters well done. It was a nail biter to the end. I will look for more books by Mr. Green.

This is my first Tim Green book, but I'll be looking for more. This book was as intense as it was fascinating to look into the mind of a man imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. His accusers are up-and-coming businessmen and politicians (and his supposed friends) who never give a second thought of letting him spend the rest of his life in prison for something they know he didn't do. Their only thoughts are of ways of gaining more power and riches.
They didn't reckon on him ever getting out, much less coming after them. This guy takes revenge to a whole new level! Good read.

At the beginning of the book I didn't expect to like it. It appeared to be only the story of a way a man was framed and imprisoned. But Raymond escapes, and more of the story centers around him, well, exacting revenge.

Fans of Tim Green will love this one, his best book by far. I sat up most of the night finishing it up.

First book I've read by Tim Green. Had a hard time getting into it but was well worth it. Very interesting mystery, concerns Raymond White, an up and coming Republican, who is wrongly convicted of a brutal murder. He meets a man in prison who teaches him about many things; including the concept that you have to "exact revenge".

This book was definitely a page turner, the story was interesting and unpredictable and kept me interested the whole time. While at times I had trouble following the roles of the characters the main characters were very well developed.

Our "hero" Raymond White has his career and life before him written in the stars when he's set up for murder. After spending about 20 yrs in prison, he escapes and proceeds to fulfill his plan of revenge on the men who set him up. The characters are well developed and the reader finds himself rooting for the hero for his revenge...how strange is that?! An excellent read!

Reads like some of Grisham's earliest (and best) books.

EXACT REVENGE by Tim Green: Raymond White is in a maximum-security prison for a crime he didn't commit when he meets another lifer, art thief Lester Cole. White and Cole escape, with White surviving to use Coles stolen art to make himself a new man and to exact revenge on those who framed him. Of course, its been done before Count of Monte Cristo, Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less, etc., but it is a fast fun read and as Lester Cole says about revenge, If you don't do it, you'll be a professional victim. You exact it and it's exact. Not just a reaction, but planned out. Precise. It needs to send a message." Root for the home team in this one.

AN INNOCENT PRISONER. A DARING PLAN. A HIDDEN FORTUNE...

For twenty years, Raymond White has waited. Confined to a maximum security prison in upstate New York, condemned for a murder he didn't commit, he thinks only of the men who put him there. In 1985, White was a high-rolling lawyer who had money, power, and a beautiful woman--until a group of jealous rivals framed him. Now decades later, White befriends a wizened art thief, and together they plot an ingenious escape. Outside the prison gates, unimaginable wealth from a hidden cache awaits. That and a new name will give White the power to make every one of his enemies pay, and pay dearly.
