Very boring characters, plot, and setting...need I say more? A real slugfest to stick with it to the end.
As usual, no one can tell a story like Grisham can. Keeps you turning the page but the ending fell short on this one. Climax goes to the end but the bad guys win. Terrorist kidnap a woman Lawyer from one of the worlds largest law firms and threatens to kill her unless they get 100 million. They get most of the money and return the woman....so? Needed better ending
Boring, boring, boring! A totally straightforward and not that believable plot involving a boondoggle in Libya, a law firm whose associate gets kidnapped, and a whole lot of financial juggling to get enough money for the ransom. That's all there is to the book.
