This author's writing is nuts - LOL!!!!!! I am constantly rereading the things she says because I do the same things over and over and over in my head too.
This book is the follow up to You've Got Male and I liked it a lot better. It flowed and the story moved. Although, the story within a story was distracting at times.
This time the main characters are Marnie Lundy (twin sister to the missing agent Lila Moreau who we met in YGM) and agent Noah Tennant. We see Sorcerer again and are introduced to another player, Philospher.
Great book. Can't wait for the next in line - Overnight Male.

This is the sequel to "You've Got Male" and it is as good as the first one. It picks up where the first left off with many of the same characters along with a few new ones. It's cute, well written and I'm looking forward to reading the next one,"Overnight Male" to see what happens to She-Wolf!!
Pretty good. I thought it was better than "You've Got Male."

A twisted plot and funny. A fast and fascinating read. Love Bevarly's book they always make me laugh. The real question is who is the hero or heroine? Is there one? Is there really an OPUS? What does OPUS do? Lots of questions you ask yourself and try to figure out while you are reading.

Another book about the secret government agency "OPUS". It has 2 "spy" stories in this one book.

Part of a series of books about OPUS (a super secret spy network.) In this one the main character is an unknowing double for a top agent and must work through her self image and feeling of duty to her country before she gets the guy. A good read.
In Cleveland pianist Marnie Lundy dreams of playing at Carnegie, but for now plays at Lauderdale's department store. One night after work in the parking lot, a man arrives handing her a package; another man tries to take the package; and a third man succeeds, but snatches her too. Marnie has no idea what is going on, but each male called her Lila.
The third man says his name is Noah Tennant code name "Sinatra"; that the first individual was the Philosopher and the second the Sorcerer. His top secret Office of Political Unity and Security (OPUS) has been searching for Lila for five months and the Sorcerer for two years. She insists she is not Lila, but Marnie. As he learns she is telling the truth, he investigates why two women look identical and recruits Marnie to help them find their best agent the missing for five months Lila and the lethal treacherous Sorcerer.
Like Marnie readers will wonder who slipped that hallucinatory drug in her water from the moment the frightened Philosopher dumps his "book" on her until the final confrontation between her and Sinatra as she forces him to sing what is in his heart. The story line is action-packed with Elizabeth Bevarly lampooning espionage thrillers while providing a strong romantic suspense thriller. The Lila-Marnie scenario is obvious yet the audience will not care as fans will wonder if OPUS is what Homeland security is all about in a fun sequel to YOU GOT MALE.

Music teacher and part-time lingerie saleswoman Marnie Lundy's biggest thrill is playing piano at the local mall . . . until the night everyone seems to think she's somebody else!
Suddenly she's being addressed in code, menaced by a man who claims to know her intimately and rescued by a handsome spymaster who thinks she's a threat to national security!
But OPUS agent Noah Tennant has the feeling she's more Mata Hari than Mother Teresa. Could a woman this sexy truly be innocent, or is Marnie his opponent in a deadly game of spy vs. spy?
Okay story, decent conflict between characters. I have to say that having the lead character go to two weeks of spy school so she would be able to impersonate the real Lila was a little too much for me. I didn't find it really engaging but I have like other books by this same author (You've Got Male, How to Trap a Tycoon, Her Man Friday).
