The book was all right but I found it dragged quite a bit. I won't be reading more of this series. I didn't find that the characters had much depth.
I rarely give 5 stars, but I so enjoyed this book and the style of writing. Easy, bit trite story line. Gorgeous girl actor meets hunk business man who is really CIA. He can't committ and suddenly dumps her. She has a complete breakdown, and the story begins 5 years later. It is a Cinderella story after all. It is a book which has some unforeseen plot twists, and some very honest writing. In the end, the reader feels REAL good. I love ending a book, wanting to go hug my husband, don't you?
There's something really unique about Julia Londn's writing; she avoids the fluff and delves as deeply as she can into her character's emotions and psyches- she really makes you care about them. "Extreme Bachelor" is no exception. Leah was dumped by Michael (the love of her life) five years previous to the action of the novel. The twp meet again on a movie set. Sparks fly, criminals appear, a movie gets made and Leah and Michael must confront their past and their current feelings. Recommended.
