The Blackstone Chronicles are short novels. Each novel in the series revolves around an object with a connection to the old Blackstone Insane Asylum. People in the town receive these items and horror and mayhem follow. I am a fan of John Saul horror novels, and these are good as well.

The whole series kept you on your toes, wondering who the mystery person was, and why they were leaving "gifts" to specific town residents.

I enjoyed this series. Once I started, I could not stop. The series is my favorite of what I have read by John Saul. If you like gruesome/mystery I am sure you will like it as much as I do.
