This is a fantastic book! I'm always interested in what might happen if one were a believer and received visions of something happening. What would the outcome be? Would it be always accurate? I couldn't put this book down. It's somewhat like a mystery, but also a look into how trust in God and listening to His voice is always important. I'd highly recommend reading this book.

This is a Christian Fiction book. If you like suspense, your heart rate should increase while reading this novel filled with more turns than a winding mountain highway and just as dangerous. The characters are bold and believable, the storyline unique and intriguing. Just don't forget to breathe. Will Brandilyn Collins become the Mary Higgins Clark of Christian fiction? No doubt about it. (from Times magazine)
intense and very real
Very suspenseful! The author is compared to Mary Higgins Clark, and I must agree. Only I believe that Collins is even better! Eyes of Elisha was my first with this author, but it wont be my last.
It was a great book nothing like I expected considering I never read any of her books I got this one free when I got another book I was getting.
Very good mystery -- Christian fiction.
" In a horrifying vision, Chelsea Adams has relived the victim's last moments. But who will believe her? Certainly not the pilice, who must rely on hard evidence. Nor her husband, who barely tolerates Chelsea's newfound Christian faith. Besides, he's about to hire the man who Chelsea is certain is the killer to be a vice president in his company.
Torn between what she knows and the burden of proof, Chelsea must follow God's leading and trust him for protection. Meanwhile, the murderer is at liberty. And he's not about to take Chelsea's involvement lying down."
This is a spell binding, suspenseful Christian novel, fascinating reading....

I had never heard of this author before I read this book. I enjoy a good mystery, and this one is good. When it looked like the mystery was solved, the book wasn't over and I thought, "OK, this is different, what's going on?" Totally unexpected, lots of twists and turns. So now I've got to see what else Brandilyn Collins has written!
Couldn't read this one because the print is so small it was hurting my eyes so I don't know if story is good or not had to quit after just a few pages.
I just found this author and love her writing. But make sure you have time, because you won't want to put it down.
very suspensful and page turner.
This is the larger book and type is much better. I have found another writer who can keep your interest right from the beginning and keeps you going until the end. Love this Author. Also had to have all her books to read and I am not disappointed.
I absolutely loved this book! Interesting plot initially a little hard to believe and then the author just pulls you in. Just when you think it is all figured out she throws in a real twist and you are hooked right until the end. Great book highly recommend!
Eyes of Elisha by Brandilyn Collins is the first book in the Chelsea Adams Series. Chelsea Adams became a Christian a year ago and began having visions (mostly of future incidents). Chelsea believes the visions are from God. Then she has a vision of a murder that had already occurred. Chelsea sets out to find the victim and the killer. Her husband, Paul, is skeptical about her visions and avoids talking to her about God. How will this investigation affect their marriage? Will Paul ever accept her visions? I did not enjoy Eyes of Elisha. I thought it would be good with the visions and the mystery. However, the Christian elements (a lot of prayer and Bible verses) overshadowed everything else. The mystery was extremely simple (I knew who the killer was as soon as the character as introduced). I like Christian stories, but where the Christian element is barely noticeable (subtle and not in your face). I was not drawn into the story (by the characters or the storyline). I give Eyes of Elisha 3 out of 5 stars (it was okay but its potential was not realized). I just do not think that I am the right audience for this novel. I received a complimentary copy of Eyes of Elisha from the author through The Book Club Network, Inc. in exchange for an honest review.
I found that I did not like the Mass Market version. The print is too small. I swapped for the orignal and it was a lot better.
The novel has a chilling start. And a surprising finish. With an interesting mystery novel twist. Because the eye-witness didnt witness the crime. She saw it through a God-given vision.
The premise was enough to give me chills and the opening of the novel quickly maintains that edgy quality. Chelsea is an incredibly likeable and sympathetic heroine. She doesnt want these visions, but because of her faith is convicted to make sure the proper people know what she has seen.
Now, Im not usually the terribly bright reader that spots the villain before he/she is revealed and this book did leave me in the dark to who did it. But by the time the book closed, every doubt I might have had about this twist being pulled out at a desperate last minute, was completely erased.
Middle to end of the book slowed a bit for a murder mystery I thought and became more wordy. The ending didnt hold that gripping suspense that Ive become used too, but I will say one of the last scenes was especially well written. I was right therebut I dare not say more for spoilers.
I did like the courtroom scene, though a bit wordy, the back and forth dialogue fling was like I was watching the lawyer shout, objection!
Often chilling word pictures, likeable main character and deep spiritual truths. Eyes of Elisha is a well-rounded suspense novel.
This review is my honest opinion. Thanks to the publisher for my copy to review.
