This story was a struggle to get through. Every chapter had a different set of characters and it jumped around so much that I couldn't keep them straight. There was no depth of character with any of them and no real mystery to the story because the attempts at deflection were inane, baseless and rushed. It's the first MHC book I've read and based on my experience with this one, it will no doubt be my last.
This is a really good mystery. MHC at her best.
Fast-paced story, a page turner. Good for a quick summer read. The ending seemed a bit rushed, and the âbig twist' wasn't all that surprising, but the loose ends were all tied up neatly.
