Absoutely LOVED this book! Chrissy (the fairy) and Savannah are paired up because of their similar personality traits. Savannah is a spoiled brat who gets zapped to the Middle Ages--twice! She has to learn how to fend for herself by cooking for an ESM (Evil Step Mother) and several little guys. This book was so much fun and whimiscal that I even laughed out loud in several parts. The ending is very good as well. She ended it with something to leave us waiting for another book and I hope she does it again, i'll definately keep my eye out on this author!

Savannah didn't ask for a fairy godmother, but after her boyfriend dumps her for her sister, she'll take all the help she can get.

Instead of a fairy godmother, she gets Chrissy, a fair godmother. Chrissy doesn't fully listen to her wish because she's late for a shopping expedition, so she sends Savannah into the Middle Ages, as Cinderella.

Savannah's stuck as a servant, in a life she never wanted. Chrissy doesn't come back until she's met Prince Charming (who's not a nice guy). Savannah's home for a few minutes trying to explain her wish, when Chrissy sends her to become Snow White. Savannah's beyond frustrated with her fair godmother.

She's stuck back in the Middle Ages with dwarfs treating her like an airhead because she doesn't remember anything and she can't cook. Finally, her fair godmother answers her calls. Savannah returns home. Frustrated beyond belief, she tries to explain her feelings, hoping that she won't be sent off on into yet another fairy tale.

Instead, she's pleasantly surprised when she stays at home. She loves the luxurious amenities of home compared to the Middle Ages. The next morning she discovers that her possible prom date went MIA. Finally, she connects the dots and figures out that he's been sent back to the Middle Ages to become the prince she wanted. He can't return home until he's become a prince. Can she go there and rescue him - or will they both disappear into the Middle Ages?

Janette Rallison writes a very funny and unique novel about love, wishes, fairy tales, and how to list all the ideals of a boyfriend (carefully, of course). If you like fairy tales, you won't want to miss this one!

I got this book through the Amazon Vine program; it's an uncorrected proof advance reading copy.

This book is about two sisters Jane and Savannah. When Jane unwittingly steals Savannah's boyfriend well, Savannah gets help from an expected source; her "fair" (not fairy) godmother. Savannah's Godmother didn't do all that well at fairy school, so she is stuck doing an extra credit project; that is granting Savannah three wishes. Except the wishes don't really go how Savannah thinks they are going to.

Let me say loud and clear that if you are a typical, young, teenage girl you will probably love this book. This book is cuter than cute and matches the bubble gum pink hair of the fairy on the front. It's all about boys, popularity, and cloths. Then you throw in some fairy tales and suddenly you have a teeny bopper book with a message.

This is a fun book and a cute book. It is not a surprising book and not a particularly creative book. It was enjoyable to read, but not fantastic. My biggest problem with this book is that I think things got kind of contrived and muddled at the end. I mean all of the sudden Savannah is multiple princesses all at once, even though supposedly her first wishes are done. I thought this was maybe a bit of a stretch and could have been better done by the author.

Other than that, this book delivers exactly what you think it will deliver. Cute, cute, cute, fairy, teenage fun. Personally I wouldn't read another book from this author, but it this is your thing this book is well done.

Thoughts:
Ahh this book's so neat!! I did not think I was going to like it as much as I did, I'm so glad I was wrong. I loved this story Janette Rallison created. Great book about fairy tales, completely different from any other fairy tales out there.
I really felt for the protagonist, Savannah. Poor poor kid (16 yrs old but I like saying kid okay?). Her older sister betrayed her tsk tsk tsk by stealing her boyfriend, then afterwards both bastards pretty much acted like Savannah was the weird one for not forgiving them. Those turds!! Anywho....Savannah's dork of a Fairy, I mean Fair Godmother Chrysanthemum Everstar (neato name huh?), a cool sometimes pink haired funny teenager, messed up Savannah's wishes and because of her silly self Tristan, this guy from her school, ended up in the middle ages until he can become a prince. Savannah has to go back to help him get out, until then they're both pretty much stuck there, with no electricity, indoor plumming, clean water, etc. :(
This book made me laugh out loud at times and I just had to finish the book after first starting it, I finished it in one sitting thankyouverymuch :D It's just that entertaining. :) So, I would recommend this one if you're looking for a nice fun read. Ooooh and guess what?!! There's gonna be a sequel and I CAN'T wait to find out what Chrissy's next assigment is (!!!!!).
The cover-I didn't like that the cover doesn't show Chrissy's wings, that makes me sad :( but it makes me happy to make myself believe that the wings were fluttering so fast it couldn't be captured on film :) hehe other than that it's really pretty I especially love the background.
