Excellent!
Good read. Have never been dissappointed in Joann
When two embattled souls meet up in Ireland after years in war-torn sites doing medical and photojournalism jobs, the expected happens. A lovely book for those who enjoy Irish settings, and some good storylines as well.
Tales of Ireland and her people always entertain me.
This takes place in Ireland with some history lightly entwined in romance. A country doctor in a small town and all that goes with neighbors thinking they know everyone's business.
It was a nice, sweet story. It's romantic with some paranormal elements.
Even though I really liked both Michael and Erin, I had a hard time with the transition of Erin's character. She scoffed pagan healing crystals but easily was convinced to believe in ghosts and reincarnation. The change happened quite suddenly and wasn't quite believable. My biggest pet peeve with Ross's books is that she recycles her characters and puts different names on them. She definitely does that here and it feels a little bit like a rip off.
Nevertheless, it was beautifully written and I enjoyed it. I believe it's part of a series so I will be reading the other too as well: "Women's Heart" and "Lake's Legend." I know this is the second one in the series and I think if I read "Women's Heart" first I might be able to keep track of the kids a bit better.
