My niece loves this series and I read this on her recommendation. It was a fun story and really reminded me of Shrek, with all of the cameos from fairy tale characters. It is maybe a little too lightweight for adult readers, although I had no problem getting through it. It was a quick read and I am going to read the next one to see what happens. I think this is an outstanding series for preteens, so if you have a 10 or 11 year old who loves Harry Potter or Spiderwick or Percy Jackson, try this out on them.

Loved this book! Lots of fun!
Sabrina and Daphne Grimm, related to the Brothers Grimm, are fairy tale detectives. Their first case is to stop a giant from destroying their village. It's funny and will keep you interested throughout the book.
