This author just keeps getting better and better! Her sex scenes have always been hot, but now her characters have become warmer.
Set in Fairyville, AZ, where the veil between the two worlds is thin enough to allow escapees from Fairyland, Zoe is a psychic who helps all around her heal. She hasn't healed, however, from the love that was taken from her.
She lusts and loves her boss but while he seems to be attracted, once a month he slakes his lust with others.
When her former love returns and the sparks fly how will she defend her heart?
The M/F/M scenes with another male looking on sizzles!!

What can I say, it's an Emma Holly book. Zoe is a medium who communicates with the dead. Magnus is her landlord/manager who makes her heart race. He seems to enjoy 1 woman a month but never her. She can't understand why but in reality he wants her badly. When her highschool sweetheart returns home, Magnus becomes quite jealous and with good reason even though Alex has brought his "friend" Bryan. This book is quite steamy with scenes between men and a threesome. Not for the faint at heart. What Zoe will learn about Magnus and even Alex comes as quite a shock. Enjoy!

I usually like graphic steamy books, but this was too much for me. I couldn't get through chapter three. If you like m/m and m/m/m/g and more sex than story this book could be for you. But for me it was too way over the top. Happy to pass this one on.

Fairyville presents it's self as a romance novel with erotic undertones. However what you get borders on the cusp of homoerotic smut. While I have no problem with homosexuality, I did not expect this book to be riddle with more homoerotic scenes than heterosexual ones. The product description for this book mentioned nothing of the relationship between Alex and Bryan, yet their story is as prominent (if not more so) than the supposed feature story. I must admit that I am not the biggest Emma Holly fan. The majority of the books I have read by this author were not to my liking, however, I figured I would give it one last shot. I wish I hadn't.

Wow. Emma Holly is a great author who is not into monogamy. It is a little heavy on the guy on guy blow by blow description. One female and three hot males are in a Quadrangle love story. Good love story with happy endings all around.
Not my favorite from this author, bell written as you would expect from Emma Holly. Zoe is likable, but has sex with just about every male in the book. Mystery, secrets, revisiting first love, & lots of (non-traditional)sex...what more can one ask for?

Emma Holly brings out the extremes in me - I tend to either love it or hate it. This is definitely one of the loves - if you could imagine Jennifer Crusie writing an erotic, this is it. Wacky, Tinkerbelle style fairies, a psychic that talks to dead people, old lovers, new lovers, [sometimes both at the same time], and let's not forget changeling babies and the psycho Queen of the Fey...this book melds them all together with a fine and humorous hand. If m/m and multiple-partner sex bothers you - stay away.

Very erotic and not for the squeamish! Great book IMO. Holly does a good job of giving this VERY steamy book a plot and a love story. Of course, there is a HEA for all involved, which is a must for me. The sex is often and varies from m/m, m/m/f, m/m/f/m...you get the point. Definitely worth the credit:)

This is a VERY racy book. Lots of non-traditional sex scenes and a pretty unusual paranormal plot. I enjoyed this book, but I (who frequently reads steamy romance fiction) was surprised by how steamy this one was. The plot is about a woman who sees fairies and is attracted to her boss. Her boss is actually a fairy in hiding who has a voracious sexual appetite (as all fairies do, according to the plot). Her childhood sweetheart (who is also a fairy, unbeknownst to him) comes back to the area with his recently-acquired boyfriend and they realize a forgotten mutual attraction. Expect lots of twosomes (of both sexes) threesomes and even a foursome. Not for the faint of heart, but entertaining nonetheless.
This was a okay book. Got a little wierd. Be warned of a bit of kinkyness in this book. It dragged a bit for me...I kept skipping pages.
This book should be X rated.I didn't finish it and have decided not to repost it..sorry
This book is very explicit. I also found it very well written and the characters were believable.
good book. Typical Emma Holly in that it is a lot of sex and an unsual storyline. She keeps you guessing and laughing and panting til the end.
I thought this was a fun, sexy read. It's a little out there, but that's what Emma Holly does best!
It was...ok. Plenty of sex scene but I didn't really connect with the characters. Menage-a-deux/trois/ quatre may not be my thing.
Very disappointing considering all the good reviews from members about this book. I spent more time re-reading lines trying to figure out the point of this story. It's all sex. My head exploded trying to make sense of this. Don't read if you actually like stories with meaning or plot. Do read if you like pornographic senseless novels.
I wouldn't reccomend this book to anyone that doesn't want to read guy on guy action. I was very disappointed in content. But to each his own.
This book was amazing. I actually got it thinking it was part of a series (which it could be easily). I highly recommend Emma Holly as a Erotic Fiction/Fantasy writer. You start off with a Mystery, that turns into a love story, that turns into heartbreak, that turns into a love triangle. This story is not for the "faint of heart" in Erotic Fiction, but more for the person who would enjoy something "new" to their collection.
I found this book really difficult to read. I do not really care for homosexual sex scenes - no problem with the premise, just not my cup of tea. I did not like either of the "main" characters after their weird behavior with other characters in the book. Also, the Alex/Bryan story was just as prominent as the Zoe/Magnus story. Magnus's mother was also not well drawn and seemed to be very similar to the evil head of the Unseelie Court in the Merry Gentry books. Overall, a real disappointment - I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a paranormal romance - only someone looking for a homosexual, weird four way sex book.
I had a little trouble getting into this at first, but once I did, I was hooked until the end. It's different from anything else I've read, which is saying much in this day and age of paranormal romance.
This was pretty good! I am a big Emma Holly fan but have been reading some of her historicals and they don't float my boat. Nice to get back to contemporary romance. Interesting characters, especially liked the m/m aspect which could be sold as the secondary story but was more interesting than the main story. Plenty of very steamy love scenes and a reasonable story to go along. I think this is the start of a series, will be back for more.
Emma Holly kept me guessing about this story whose town has special citizens. Always great sexual tension building between the main characters.
This is one of her better books. I really enjoyed it. Some pretty erotic scenes.
This book is rawnchy... VERY VERY smutty. I could not get through it and wish to pass it on as quickly as possible. It is not my kind of book and I hope it finds a happy home somewhere else.
Zoe Clare has lived in Fairyville all her life; she has been the ridicule of some and loved by few. Now Zoe has made her place in this tiny town as a medium, and the dead love telling her things. Zoe once loved her high school sweetheart Alex, and he left; she has wanted and even loved Magnus, her manager and landlord, for a while now too, but he won't touch her. So what is wrong with Zoe? Why do the men she cares for most want nothing to do with her? We might get a chance to find out when Alex comes back and Magnus becomes more possessive than allowed...
