I was raised a Catholic, and from an Irish family, could understand what was going on in this family. It was really a good read, involving a subject that is a big black eye for Roman Catholics. But,being of Catholic faith,or not, this book will keep you interested.
It was a captivating tale of family and faith. I enjoyed it for the most part.
This is a beautifully sad book. Injustices, lies, faith, all of these factor into this amazing story. Told from a Catholic priest's sister's perspective, we see the fallout from accusations made, whether founded or unfounded. We also see the awful power of abuse at the hands of so called friends. A very good book.
