I read this book. I liked it at first, but as I continued to read it, there were some unanswered questions about the minister. The writer made some valid points about what can happen when a single preacher get his first church. The challenges he has to face, and the decisions that he must make. This story is also about the Caruso family and the ups and downs they face and how their lives become entangled together. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

A very good satire about a slice of suburban life. It's definitely a different writing style, but who wants to read the same sort of book every time you pick up a novel? This was a very entertaining read, and at times laugh-out-loud funny. It may take you a couple of chapters to get into it, but stick with it... It was worth the time!
