I know I should read her in order, but this is the first one of Karin Slaughter's books I've read. I really, really enjoyed it, even though the climactic moment of confrontation with the villain was very graphic and I abhor violence against women and children. I will definitely read more of her.

An excellent thriller thats takes the reader to the "dark side". Not for the faint of heart with the graphic forensic detail.

This thriller kept my interest through to the end. It is a "must read" if you are a mystery buff! A victim is buried alive in the Georgia woods and the story evaolves around a medical examiner and her ex-husband who is a police chief who work to solve the murder and there is a series of "shocking and sordid revelations. Guaranteed to enjoy!

I normally feel as if I can solve a crime before I get to the second chapter, but this one keeps me guessing.

Not her best but very good and interesting. Slow in the beginning but really builds about 2/3 of the way through.

Karin Slaughter is once again at her best! She is gritty in her writing and story telling. This book is NOT for the faint-of-heart!

Medical Examiner Sara Linton and her ex-husband, Police Chief Jeffrey Tolliver stumble over the grave of a young girl buried alive.

This is the 5th book in Slaughter's Grant County series. Great mystery/suspense. There are a lot of surprises that I didn't see coming. I highly recommend.
