This was great and my first introduction to this author. Really a twisted mystery.
Melanie, Mia and Ashley are triplets dealing with the effects of an abusive childhood in

Mia's now married to a physically abusive doctor; Ashley has become a bitter man-hater; and
Melanie is a divorced cop fighting for custody of her son. When a serial killer nicknamed

Melanie begins her own investigation into the mysterious deaths. Most people, including
world-famous FBI profiler Connor Parks, think the case is best left unsolved, but Mel is out

All around Charlotte, NC, women are being abused. What is different this time is that someone is then killing the abusers in rather clever and well-thought-out ways....
Great story with strong female lead characters. Spindler keeps the serial killers identity so well hidden behind motive and alibi that you will be guessing until the very end. This book is one of Spindler's more well-written stories!

This was a pretty good mystery that keeps you guessing who the real killer/killers might be. I enjoyed reading it and plan to look for more of her books.
This author is great---all fall is a very good book--- surprise ending.
