This was an amazing book about a family-woman not even looking for love, and even fighting it the whole way, but finding it in a new neighbor who has longed for a family his entire life. Another main theme of this story is forgiveness. Forgiving what's been done to us in the past and forgiving those who have made mistakes.

A pleasing read with logical plot twists. As always with the Love Inspired series the spiritual element rings true with logical a Bible based solution for all the characters involved. Author Carolyne Aarsen has written another keeper in her "Coming home to Faith and Family" books.

From the Back of the Book:
Wanted: Family
(Must Love Dogs)
Luke Harris grew up without family. Now, it's all he wants. More so when he and his friendly dog move next door to widowed mom Janie Corbett and her three kids. For the first time, he can imagine hearing the pitter-patter of little feet in his own home. Listening to their beditme prayers. Having a wife and children to call his own. But once-burned/twice-shy Janie won't say yes---unless Luke acknowledges his troubled past. With the help of one stubborn woman, three smart kids and a cherished Labrador retriever, there might be a family for Luke, after all.
