This book was very well written in addition to being entertaining, which I did not expect. John Gotti's story is told through the eyes of his most famous daughter who obviously idolizes her father, so her version of events must be taken with a grain of salt. It seems to be her life's mission to prove to the world that Dad was a gangster with a heart of gold. Nevertheless, it was a good read.

Meh - this was okay. I wasn't sure what to expect, to be honest; I know that she's written other books but I have not read them. It was interesting to see how her parents grew up, and how different it was for her and her brothers and sisters to grow up. Intriguing to see what for this family was the "norm", even when their dad was in jail, and the FBI was at the door, etc. If you've seen "Goodfellas", it's the same type of hype and family drama with the government, rival gangs, etc.
