Cute story. Rising 30's film star Cleopatra Lutz gets changed to a vampire against her will and has to leave the industry [hard to make it to the set during the day...]. Her maker has kept her isolated and when he eventually gets staked she's on her own with no knowledge of the world of the paranormals. She thinks she is the only vampire in LA. 70 years later she meets Michael who has been a vampire Companion for 60 years and is looking for a new Nightwalker to be with... He's a long time fan of Cleo's and wants her...she's afraid of commitment and just eats and runs... Excitement and plot devices ensue...
