I thought that this book about the beasts was good, and it included written notes by some of the beasts by Harry so that added humor to the book and didn't make it totally serious. I enjoyed reading it.

Wonderful and quick read! Really defines each 'monster' in the harry potter series. Gives a brief background on how the Department and Control of Regulation of Magical Creatures came to be.

This is puportedly one of Harry Potter's school books, annotated by Harry, Hermione and young Weazly.
Original sales profits of this book by J.K. Rowling went to the Comic Relief charitable organization.
Good fun! (I hadn't known that Kneazles could interbreed with domestic cats or that Bowtruckles were edible . . .)

Seeing as I was the last person on Earth to know this exsisted I picked it up as soon as I could. Its a short book, I dont know how many pages but its the size of a child's book. An easy read and alot of fun. It brings you deeper in to the world of Harry Potter.

A great read if you love Harry Potter, It gives you a bit of information on some beasts you don't hear about in the books. A nice gift for anyone who is a fan.
I was a little disapointed to see that the book had less then 50 pages, for i was obsorbed in the book and found it interesting.
This book was great I loved the writing from the Children in the book
Love the way the world is continued through the telling of this book.HP fans will eat it up.I know I did.
A book on the beast of J.K Rowlings Harry Potter world.
I did not read this book myself, my son was the Harry Potter fan. It is a 'pair' with "Quidditch Through the Ages" (also listed), and the two can be sent as a boxed set, with original decorated box. The book is not a novel like the series, but a companion that is like an encyclopedia of beasts, complete with 'notes' Harry has added as he has studied them. Great extra for a fan!
Apparently, this is the book that outed Albus Dumbledore.

If you are requesting this book from someone on here, know this: you are being ripped off! This book comes as a set of TWO! The other book it is sold in stores with is called "Quidditch through the ages." You can NOT buy these books seperately. They are very thin little books, so you should get your credit's worth and ask for both!!

i also listed it in the box set: both quidditch through the ages and this book can go together.
