The second book in L'Amours long running saga of the Sacketts. Running from arrest by Queen Elizabeth Barnabas Sackett thinks he'll be safe in the New World - but think again Barnabas.

Review: One of Louis L'Amour's "Sackett Family" books. The Sacketts are still in the mountain man era - not quite to the cowboy era. This is one of the best Sackett books and I've read them all.

To the Far Blue Mountains is book #2 in the Sackett series by Louis Lamore. It is a story of survival, friendship and scrappy independance. Taking place in the time of Raleigh and "the New World", Lamour weaves his story from the fens in England to the New World, yeomen, royalty, pirates, colonists and of course indians all come alive and struggle to survive.
One of the Sacketts series
liked the book but saw that the books were not in the chronological order as on the covers, so i needed to get the other books. other than that-can't wait to read them all. really nice for when i'm on the road! i'm a great fan now of his work! (husbands review)
