I got this book because I have recently been reading books that keep me focused on my fitness journey. I had coupons and bucks from a large book retailer, and I have alot of books in my tbr pile so I didn't really find anything I really wanted that I did not already have. I came accross this book and as I read a few smatterings from various pages I was intrigued. I am just about done with it and I have to admit it is really inspiring. She is down to earth and it is fun to read of the goings on while she was on the Biggest Loser campus as well as her personal transformation, both on the outside and inside. I didn't expect to be moved by the book, but even though I am not openly spiritual or a regular church goer, something in her words and how this journey enhanced her spirituality really touched something in me. There are stories about the interview process, life on the ranch, workouts and turning points. As well as how to live that life in real life. There are workouts, and recipes that have normal ingredients and things most would like to eat. I'd like to pass this on, but I am keeping it for a while.... I highly recommend this for fans of the show, but mostly for people like me trying to fit all the pieces together for a fit and healthier life.

I thought that this was a very inspiring weight-loss story, & I really appreciated how honest she was about her Biggest Loser experience & her personal relationship w/ Jesus Christ. I would definitely recommend this bk to anyone who struggles w/a weight problem.
