This book is raw and funny and disturbingly real. It made me want to reach out and hug Artie Lange.

As a fan of Artie Lange, I absolutely loved this book. I laughed a lot and I was saddened a few times by such a troubled man. I feel like I understand what he does a bit more since I have seen into his life. A great read for his fans.

Oh, Artie. I love you . . . but I kinda think you're a jerk, too. Amazing that you have any friends left after you crap all over them, but somehow I think you'd be an awesome friend who would give you the shirt off your back. This whole book was written just as he was speaking to you - kind of wish I'd have gotten the audio version. His trials and tribulations are pretty amazing. If you like Artie, you'll love this book. If you don't, you'll dislike him even more after reading this book. Either way, I hope he straightens his life out. We don't need another Belushi or Farley happening any time soon . . .

I can't stand Howard Stern, so i am in a limbo why i choose this book to read. I think i felt kinda sorry for Artie and i wanted to know more about him,so now i understand more than i thought i'd be privi to. A person on drugs is really not the same person--the one you'd really like to know. Yes, he is lovable in a strange way, i feel like i just read a story about a "lost man" and wish he could find himself before we are cheated out of meeting the real Artie Lange. I've come to realize i do like this man, but if his life isn't changed soon, he won't be so quick with the comebacks when the lid on the casket is closed.

I enjoyed this book, but I found Artie to be very inconsiderate. What he put his family and coworkers through was pretty insane. He's very fortunate to have friends and family that stick by him....and lucky to be alive. I like Artie. I just can't relate to the drug issues.
