Cute. The narrator does a good job of telling the tale Of Fat Ollie. Eating has way through his daily routine with a strange way of looking at life. Reminded me of a Damon Runyon novel. Ollie has an overblown opinion of his talent as an author and of himself, he glides through shady neighborhoods and criminal haunts determined to find the no good theives that copped his briefcase and book. The subplot only adds to the fun when the misguided theive laughably puts two and two together to come up with the wrong number.

Most books I can find something I like about...but this one I cannot. It is full of very bad language and it is hard to keep focused on the story because of it. alas.
