This book touched me in an unexpected way.
I enjoyed the thriller story line of a reporter with a past, hoping for a good future in getting the best next story to report on. She meets up with a handsome reporter who has the same hopes as she but seems to be there first in getting all the good scoops, the hottest stories. When the past comes back to haunt one of them it will push them closer together and yet farther apart. Can the pain of the past be overcome in order to embrace a better future? With trust in God and knowing that in the most painful of experiences he has a reason for all things.
I was at a low point recently and until I came to the very last page in this book, where the author writes to the Dear Reader:...I fell into tears, it was so loving written. Sometimes we have to go through horrid things in order to be better people for ourselves, for others for HIM.
