I love how Gail Godwin is always talking about more than one thing, going deeper. She really captures the characters in this book and I felt like I could relate to them.

Engrossing story of clergyman father and his daughter who find their way through life together. Wonderful characters deal with issues of faith, love, trust and loss.
I really liked this book. First read of the author. Now I look everywhere for her. This is a great book to read and rearead.
