I didn't find this scary at all and if you don't want to know about Ted Bundy then don't read it, the entire book is bogged down all the way through with Bundy's character and crimes.

I have always been a huge fan of Gregg Olsen's work both fiction and non fiction, this one is no exception. Taking a piece from the real world and placing it in an exceptionally thrilling fictious world worked wonderfully. The book is somewhat of a slow mover int he beginning, however stay with it, it picks up quickly and is sure to send you into a sleepless night!

Really enjoy Gregg Olsen's books. This one starts a little slow but just hang in there as it picks up and gets very good!!! Kept me reading way past bedtime!

I found Fear Collector well written and quite interesting. Having read some of Gregg Olsen's true crime books previously, this was the first fictional book of his I have read. I especially appreciated the true connections he made to Ted Bundy in this novel. Quite interesting and a page-turner! If you enjoy reading psychological thrillers (my favorite genre), you will enjoy this book!

This is not one of Gregg Olsen's best. I had to wade thru the book most of the way. It got more interesting in the end, but ended abruptly. I was more impressed by the short novel after this book, the Bone Box. What a great character in Birdy Waterman! I want to read more stories with this character. His next Birdy Waterman novel is coming out later this year, The Girl in the Woods.

After trying very hard to stick with this one I just couldn't.

It is so bogged down with all the Bundy crap from the 70's and a mother that thinks her first daughter was killed by him and instills it in her second daughter that becomes a cop, but the book just goes back and forth from Bundy to the current crime and the current crime seems to get lost in there somewhere with all the Bundy crap getting in the way.

I keep trying Olsen's books but the last few haven't been very good at all.
