I was really disappointed by this book after having it recommended to me. The main character is pitiful, though an interesting set up with a disgraced judge, now homeless, as a mystery solver. I might search out a second in this series to see if the writing is any better.

Excellent off beat mystery with a likeable protagonist - a judge who has been disgraced and defrocked, homeless but not entirely defeated. This is the second book in a series that I intent to follow as soon as I can find the first one.
