I appreciate the concern. I am as careful as I can be whatever I do. If I am careless, Meggie's welfare is at risk as well as my independence.  Of course accidents do happen so I always carry the house phone in my pocket.  Today, I have to pound on the ice more. It continues to warm up so my task may get easier. I should bring in a barrow of wood. I hope to get Meggie out today. I don't know how deep the snow is in the yard but we can at least go for a ride.

Finally it warmed up, so I chose to walk back to my car after the basketball game yesterday. (Instead of riding the shuttle. I rode the shuttle to the game because I would have been late if I walked.) I was warm enough, over 50 degrees, that I had to take off my coat and carry it.

So, I finally got some walking in!

Today, not so much, because I was overscheduled. But maybe tomorrow.

Just be careful Teri. Wouldn't want you to get hurt.

Today I go in for lab work. Had to get that done before I see the new doctor on the 12th. Then I'll stop by the store and pick up a couple things I've run out of, then to the library to pick up books I requested. Then head home. Doubt I'll go out again for the rest of the week other than walking to mailbox and big dumpster.

Went and got lab work done and then to store. While at store I stopped by pharmacy and got my pneumonia shot so that's out of the way. Then went to library and post office, then home. Since getting home haven't done much of anything. Really gloomy looking outside. Hope tomorrow is better.

Still stuck at 238.6. Today makes day 5 at the same weight.

Just got the results back on my lab work. Everything was normal on blood tests. Still waiting to hear on urinalizist
