Helpful Score: 1
The first time firefighter Francesca Cordaro sees Alex Templeton, she is pulling him out of a fire at his warehouse. Sparks fly between the two...but Francesca knows that firefighters shouldn't get involved with outsiders. Her parents marriage set the example for what not to do. But Alex has other ideas.
This is the first book in Shay's America's Bravest series. I thought the book was well written and the characters were interesting. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

i think that this book is very well written. there are enough details to envision what is going on. i especially like the way that francey's parents got a long. i would love to know what happens to alex and francey. how much more did they heat up after the fire?

When firefighter Francesca Cordaro saves the life of Alex Templeton, she can't help noticing how very attractive the man is. But Francey knows the rule. Firefighters who don't want to get hurt shouldn't get involved with outsiders.
Unfortunately, Alex doesn't believe in rules. And he can't understand why a woman as brave as Francey won't take a chance on love.
