Forty two year old Helen is a divorce lawyer in South Caroline who has put her dreams of having a baby on the back burner. She feels that time is running out for her to have the child that she has always wanted so she has unprotected sex with a man for the purpose to become pregnant and not married. Of course being in a small southern town he would know that Helen would be carrying his baby, since she wouldn't be with anyone else. Love gets in the way and complicates things for her plus she learns that the guy that she is planning on having a baby with doesn't want a family. The readers do find out how Helen became a successful lawyer and this book wasn't as enjoyable as the other two in the series.

i've read the first 3 in this series & look forward to reading the rest. the characters are at times humorous, but their lives are not a fairy tale. partial romance, but family issues guide the story.
great

great books, great story line
Good book fun to keep going with the series.
Good read. I really like Susan Mallery's series. I am off to read the next book.
A great story!
Third book in the Sweet Magnolia trilogy. This one deals with Helen Decatur and her desire to have a baby. It's an easy, light reading book. Very enjoyable!
After reading the first two books in the Sweet Magnolia's trilogy, I couldn't wait to finish this series! Feels Like Family is Helen's story. Helen is an attorney, and a very good one. She has spent her life concentrating on her career, and has done very well, but at what sacrifice? She has become "Aunt Helen" to her best friends, Maddie and Dana Sue's, children, but inside she knows that old biological clock is ticking it's last ticks. But, when Helen isn't even involved in a serious relationship, what is she supposed to do? Too bad she can't see the forrest for the trees! Or is it the pastry cooks for the chefs?? Helen's story is a great ending to the Sweet Magnolia's series!
I really enjoy Sherryl Woods's writing. If you like Debbie Macomber's books, you will enjoy Sherryl Wood's books. The Sweet Magnolias series is very worthwhile read.
Helen Decatur spent a lifetime setting goals getting through college and alw school opering her own practice becoming financially secure and establishing herself as one ot the most highly repected matrimonial attorneys in the stat of South Carolinw. Achieving those goals were a breeze compared to the one shes faced with now. the most driven and cynical of the sweet magnolias Helen is 42 single and suddenly ready for the family she's put on the back burner for all these years unfortunately haviny a child at her age comes with lots of complications not the least of which is the absence of a serious relationship in her life.

The third of the Southern Magnolia series. The last of the three best friends in a small southern town in SC finds she longs for a family of her own after being a successful lawyer and suddenly finds the clock ticking on her dreams. A great read.
Another great read in this wonderful series.
Last book is a 3 book series. The previous two books where great this was just as good. Sorry to see this series end.
Helen DeCatur, the most driven of the Sweet Magnolias is forty-two and single and is suddently ready for the family she's put on the back burner. Taking charge of her own destiny puts her at odds with her two best friends, sets sparks flying with a man who doesn't want a family and leads her straight into the most unexpected complication of all...love. Very good reading. Hard to put down once you start reading.

This is the third in the Sweet Magnolia series and I loved the first two and this is no exception. Sherryl Woods is a good author and her books are fun to read.
Great story & series!
Third in the Sweet Magnolia series; good primary and secondary romance arcs. While it involves a bad moral choice, I can believe that the protagonist would make the choice that she did.
Another good book by Sherryl Woods. The conculsion to her The Sweet Manolias triology, how I wish there was a forth..........
An enjoyable book. I enjoyed the series.
