I loved Hollow Kingdom so much that inevitably the sequal would be a letdown. Initially I mostly slogged through Feral Creatures as it seemed like not much was happening and all the events described were just leading up to a big ending.... but what an ending it was! 3 stars turned into 4 because of the ending (the details of which I will not give away).
