The funds of the annual Finger Lakes Autumn Fete have gone missing....and who is accused and who walks off the job?...Adela Henry, the mayor's wife and head of the fetes organizing committee....An event planner is called in to take the reins of the festivities, but when her body is found, it is up to Quill to not only find the missing money, and the killer, but chair almost all the committees to assure the success of the fete. I did not feel this was one of the better additions of the series...I thought the plot was a little bland....but if you are a fan of the Hemlock Falls series, you still might want to give this a try....

I have read the entire series and loved the characters. There has always been some comic relief and recipes that I have tried. This particular mystery was fun to read and as usual has it's last minute reveal finding the murderer makes it a good read.
