Articulate and well written, just not the book I was expecting. It discusses more the philosophy of death and how it is seen in the medical world in general rather than true, individual cases in this doctor's own practice and experience.

Good book for the subject, especially since death and dying are rarely subjects doctors like to face much less discuss...just not quite the book I was seeking.

A poigant, honesst look at the medical world from the eyes of a transplant doctor. She brings the human side of doctors to light helping the world understand they are just people like us wanting to do impossible things.
