I haven't read this book but I am going to make a review as a teacher who read her student's book report (grade 4)...I gave him a brand-new copy of the book because he looked bored and he absolutely loved the book (it was his first serious chapter book). School started back up this week and the first day there was a knock on my door and there was my former student--he didn't stop by to say hi--he came to borrow book #2! (I love it--and am now ordering books 3,4,and 5 just in case he stops by again).

Liz Pennykettle creates small clay dragons to decorate your home. Some of these dragons come to life. So just which Arts Fair to I visit to find Liz's dragons?

David Rain is her boarder and finds out about the magic happening in the house. But there is more going on in the world than us lowly humans can see or want to see.

A story about young man who is a college student and decide to rent a room in house with a woman and her young daughter. By writing a story about a squirel he creates a bond with the daughter. The mother makes ceramic dragons that he finds out are real.

A young college man rents a room from a mom with a young daughter who both have a passion for dragons. Before long he has a feeling that maybe the ceramic dragons that are made in the house might be more than just ceramic. Come along on an adventure to write a story about a squirrel that may actually be coming true, a ceramic dragon that might lose its fire, and a young man that finds not everything is always the way it looks. Wrote for young adults but as an "older" adult found it entertaining and an easy read!

This is quite a series, this is the first in five. It is a delightful read about dragons and polar bears and global warming if you can imagine. The PennyKettles make dragons and David becomes there tennant. Then you go on a wild ride with Liz. Lucy and David and even Snigger(a squirrel) June><>

A great book many fantasy readers would love! They'll fall in love with the characters right on the first page!

I had accidentally started reading the third book in this series and decided I liked it enough to put it down and start from the beginning. I love the dragons. They are so much fun. Each with their own personalities and jobs in life. I'm already reading Ice Fire. :)
