Excellent insight into the roots of 'loss' within a firehouse that responded to the 9-11 attack.

Touching story of a firehouse and ladder company that lost an entire company but for 1 man. Told with biographies of each man and talking to members of the family, the author takes us back to the horror of 9/11.

I just finished this book and what will stuck with me (forever) are the bonds between the firemen and their families.

This is the story of Engine 40, Ladder 35, located near Lincoln
Center. On the morning of 9-11-2001, two rigs carrying 13 men, set
out on a call. Twelve of the men will not return.A very moving
book !

A tribute to the firemen who perished in the 9-11 terrorist attack. Altogether, an interesting read.
