I liked this book because even though it was classic chic lit, it diverted from some of the cliche's. Don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of them in there, but there were a few different story lines going on and everything wasn't always as predictable as expected which was really nice. I still never fell in love with the main character (she seemed to just let life happen TO her) but it was a fun fluff read.

A charming tale written at a quick pace to keep you interested. A good summer time read for the beach.

I loved the Second Assistand and the First Assistand was even better. I really hope a third is in the works.

In the spirit of the Devil Wears Prada, but where the "bosses" are more lovable (if still pretty crazy and demanding). I could not put this book down, as the storyline surprised me at various turns and I liked the main character enough that I wanted to see how things turned out for her. One of those books that I was happy to spend the $$ to buy hardback. It was recommended to me by someone who prowls the NYTimes Sunday book section for current reads, and she was right. Great beach reading, the advertisement promised-- and it was half right. The other half is that it's great reading anytime.

Very funny! It's the sequel to "The Second Assistant". If you liked "The Nanny Diaires" or "The Devil Wears Prada" you'll like this one too.
A fun, quick, enjoyable read!
This is the second book about Lizzie Miller, assistant to a Hollywood power agent, and her adventures in Tinsel Town and beyond. I liked this book even better than "The Second Assistant" and I'm hoping for a third installment in this series.

Nice addition to the Second Assistant. Story remained consistent, full of real life and whit. Ending could have been better but it worked.
This is the sequel to "The Second Assistant" and there isn't much to write home about. It is a nice average chick lit book; fast paced and very light reading. It has some of the same humor that I really liked in "The Second Assistant" but it wasn't as memorable. Not a must read, but enjoyable.
I should have stopped after reading the first book, "The Second Assistant". This book just wasn't as good or as believable. I still liked reading it, because I had grown to like the characters, but it wasn't as well done. Still, there's no way I could not NOT read this book, having read the first one, and feeling like there was more to the story. If there was (is there?) a third book in this series, I'd probably read it too, even though I found this one a disappointment compared to the first one.
So Fun!!! Just love these books.
