I enjoyed this mystery, the first in the new Writer's Retreat series. There were only two things that I found objectionable. 1) The beginning part of the book had what I call an "info dump". Too much info dumped on the reader at one time (character description, facts, clues, etc.). This should happen naturally over the course of the book so it flows and is easy to digest. 2) The ending didn't quite match with one of the clues we are given later in the book. I'm not sure if the author forgot that she had added that little bit of foreshadowing or just changed her mind. Otherwise, I liked this quick, easy to read mystery and thought it had some good characters.
