I ordered this book because I heard there was not much difference between the old editions and the latest edition. I liked how it gave concrete examples, and gave me ideas on how to start the first weeks of school--something my teacher college program never covered. On the down side, some of these techniques are out-dated and didn't really help me with my classroom management in dealing with poverty-stricken and out-of-control inner city kids.
