Not a particularly great read, but full of Door County Wisconsin color. I visited Door County many years ago, and all the familiar sights were in the book. The heorine's belief that her autistic employee may be a murderer because of his social disability was not very nice to me though as I have an Asperger syndrome grandson. The heroine's immaturity annoyed me, but I liked her relatives and friends.
I tried and tried to get through this book! Very hard reading...dragged on, hard to follow, and the fudge theme was joined by fish bait and tackle, as in: they were both made and sold in the same shop. Add to this mess: an autistic young man, diamonds, a strange murder, and a love interest or two with the main character,...so disjointed and hard to read, it's a skip ahead to the end for me.
