When Eddi Boswick is cast as Elizabeth, the female lead in a local production of Pride and Prejudice, she hesitates. Dave, the handsome young rancher cast as Darcy, seems arrogant and unpredictable. Accepting the challenge of playing opposite him, Eddi soon realizes that he is difficult to work with on and off the set.
But when a tornado springs out of nowhere, Dave protects Eddi.....much to her chagrin. And he is shocked to discover an attraction for the feisty lawyer that he can't deny. Sparks fly when Eddi misinterprets his interest and discovers the truth he's trying to hide.
Will Eddi's passionate faith, fierce independence, and quick wit keep Dave from discovering the secret to love...and the key to her heart?

If you enjoy reading DEBRA WHITE SMITH, you will enjoy this book. Just when you think that you know a person, you find out that your thoughts are all wrong. This is a great book and I loved every monent of the book.
A fun, quick read based on Austin's Pride and Prejudice.
I tried to read this book -- I tried to like it, but I just could not do it. It was so obvious in it's attempt to be a modern re-telling of "Pride and Prejudice" that I was totally put off. I know some Janeites have enjoyed this book, but this Janeite didn't!
This was an entertaining read. A great parallel of Pride and Prejudice, but a true Austen lover will find this a cheap substitute.
If you like Jane Austin's books you will really enjoy this book. I enjoyed it. It is a light read, but the characters were a little hard for me to relate to. Overall a good, clean romance book with a few interesting twists and turns.
I loved her writing style, it was beautiful and intense. This is my first book read by Debra, I have the rest in the Jane Austen series and can't wait to dive into the rest of them. Too much fun!
