I read this book wishing for a sequel! Such a romantic story!
I have always in enjoyed reading Nora Roberts. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started reading it. In fact I stayed up late to finish the book.
good read
This book is a current reprint of a 1984 release. I wish when they did these reprints that an editor would give the book a quick read for references so far out of date that it is jarring to the story. In this case it is reference to an hourly wage being offered - $5/hr. In today's times that is downright offensive. A few chapters after I read that, I went and checked the copyright so I realized that amount was when minimum wage was $3.35/hr (yes I looked it up). It would have been such an easy thing to fix but it just distracted me from the story. Perhaps that was bound to happen, it wasn't the most engaging story I've ever read. Cute way to kill time but not a keeper.
nice read...quick and entertaining!
A good book. I couldn't put it down, so I read it in one day.

Another great quick read from Nora Roberts!
Good love story.
Great Gift hardback. Follows the hardback/cover style of 'The Gift' and 'Gabriel's Angel'
Nora Roberts does it again!
He needed to simplify his life and mend his broken heart. She was searching for a place to finally fit in and a man who could love her for who she was. Together they discover that all they relaly needed was each other, and that love is the greatest Christmas gift of all.
This book was first issued in 1984. Good story though!
This is a wonderful book.
It just goes to show you that first impressions are not always best, at least in this book.
