Beautiful coffee table book. It has all the president' favorite recipes from George Washington to Richard Nixon. This book was printed in 1969. This edition has pictures of George Washington's Mt Vernon and portraits of George and Martha and pictures of their set dinner table, their state china and pictures and recipes of each president'
s favorite recipes. Several prominent first ladies are on the book cover.

This new edition includes the complete menu of one of Mrs Pat Nixon's favorite family meals along with accompanying recipes and photographs. Also included is a section on former President Lyndon B. Johnson and Mrs. Lady Bird Johnson, with additional recipes and photographs from the wedding festivities of their daughters Luci and Lynda Bird, and from recent state entertaining.

The Johnson's were the friendliest administration in regard to entertaining the American people from every walk of life.
