good and hot
Innocence and love know a true heart and even though forbidden she knew she couldnt forget him. Excellent moving story enjoyed it.
This was a good read, very detailed; has good character development, but somewhat sad and gloomy in parts because of the Native American tragedy that is a part of the story. (The book takes place in the 1870's when the hero's people were being forced to live on reservations.) I thought the love story was very strong but at the same time, the fact that there really couldn't be a "happy" ending to what was happening OUTSIDE of the character's romance (and this often affected them, too), left me kind of sad. Therefore, I can't really rate it higher than three stars.
A wonderful western romance, I love all of Madeline Baker's books
FIRST LOVE
From the moment she caught sight of him working on the road gang, Brianna knew the Indian was forbidden to her. He was a prisoner, a heathen, a savage male animal who would have no mercy on her tender youth & innocence. Yet one look in his dark, fathomless eyes told Brianna he'd capture her soul.
WILD LOVE
From the moment he escaped the white man's chains, Brianna knew she must go with him. He was her life, her fate, & 1 touch of his sleek, bronzed body told her she wanted no mercy...only the searing ecstasy of his savage love.
