Delightful page turner about Alex Moorehouse, famed captain of racing sailboats, finally getting a chance with Cassandra, the woman of his dreams who he rarely even spoke to because she was the wife of his partner and therefore off limits. After the partner's death, Alex works through his guilt and rehabs from injuries. Cass is restoring the family B & B and falling in love with Alex. He often confuses her and breaks her heart, but the misunderstandings are finally cleared up and the happily ever after can take place. This is the third book in a great series.

Cassandra. The forbidden woman Alex had yearned for from the first moment he'd laid eyes on her six years ago. The woman who'd been married to his best friend--the friend he'd lost to the sea. The woman who was rebuilding his family's bed-and-breakfast....and who just might, in the process, be rebuilding his anguished heart.

of the 4 books out in the "Moorehouse Legacy" series so far, this is definitely the best. Lots of emotion, likeable characters, and believeable plot. Bird (AKA JR Ward) has a distinct style. Loved it!
