I really wanted to like this book. Come one this is Steve. Who does not love his work? One of the best in both of his fields if you ask me. Have not read all of his books, been trying to get the ones I never read or had before. But so far this has been the only book that I really have not liked. To me it liked the Cannell charm, and spunk.

Will give it another read since I couldn't get into the Shane Scully novels in the beginning years ago. And those were the first novels of his that I read. Still will get this copy to add to my selection

Kind of funny in a sad way; a Hollywood type sees a girl he 'wants' during a vacation to Hawaii. Trapped in a loveless marriage, he pursues her. He pursues her so much, he does some really weird things.

I can give 4 stars for this one.

Surprised it doesn't already have a review, it is not a Shane Scully story, it is a stand alone.

A story of obsession, it will hook you from the first page and you won't put it down! I finished it in one day.

It is kind of comical, you can just picture in your mind the 'scenes' as it's happening but at the end it is a nail biting page turner.
