This book worked great as a workbook for my procrastinating son starting in his junior year. We paid attention to the timeline outlined in the book. The year dates do not matter, because it is basically a workbook for what to do in spring of your sophomore year, fall of your junior year, etc. To make money, the Fiske people republish the same workbook every year with a different year in the title. Both our children ended up well prepared and ahead of their peers in the long, important search for the right school. For us, this book kept us on track and was worth having. They both did their research and ended up very happy with the colleges they chose.
