At one time I followed this particular plan in an effort to lose weight. It worked. This is book is deeply informative with a great deal of explanatory information intended to validate the eating plan. It was a bit ponderous to me yet I understood the concept and when I tried it I had success. It is not the book's fault that I did not stick with the program.

Another diet book but one that has great tips on losing weight.
Great book! Made me better understand how our body digest & uses foods. The only reason it didnt get a 5 start is I didnt like that he really tried to push being a vegetarian, & didnt promote pasture & organic foods, but it is an older book, so I am wondering if it has been updated? A great read on understanding our body. I lost 5lbs the first week I started it with ease.
Excellent information.
They are not fans of meat and dairy products. Buzz-ideas include not combining certain foods (starches and proteins, for example) and eating foods that will hydrate you. The authors have divorced, so based on my criteria, their diet is unsuccessful.
This is one of my favorite books of all time. Amazing nutritional advice. No matter what you pick out of this book to do or follow you will be bettering yourself in some way. All of the advice is amazing. One of the best nutritional books ever written.
