Not a very interesting book. McCammon usually hold my interest thru the whole book. I had to push myself to finish it. With over 600 pages I think it was about 400 to long. Way to wordy, uses an entire page to tell you what could be said in one sentence.
This is a pretty good read. I liked the characters but it doesn't really measure up to McCammon's other books.
McCammon has written many great novels. This isn't one of them.
