What a great book on not looking a gift "donkey" in the mouth!! Flash is a great little guy who through his own quirky personality ends up teaching the Ridge family a lot more about life than just caring for a donkey! The author Rachel Anne is on a journey with her little donkey to learn about love, perseverance, and having confidence in yourself (even if you DO have really big ears!)

This is a lovely story about Flash the donkey. He showed up one night on their driveway and rather than leave him they put him in their pasture. They were going to hunt for his owner the next day. The story of this donkey is so sweet and the impact he had on his people. I loved the story and it made a real impact on me. Anyone who likes animal stories will love this one.
